Have you ever run into the issue where scaler 2 only recognizes the first chord only?

Nice video! I started using this Scaler 2 plugin and I'm still disovering new functionalities every day I use it

I miss a master AMP and a copy paste option in the edit, pitch, amp section :)!! Otherwise this seems super cool!!

Very interesting plugin. It would be very useful to be able to modulate either from the plugin or by DAW mapping the Pitch and Amp envelope nodes. That would really breath some extra life to drum sequences.

Trial version crashes the whole daw once i try to load it.

Hi, I have a real problem here because when i want to open scaler at the very beginning when i go to "midi effect", i can see chord trigger, arpeggiator, modulator etc... but i can't go very far to see "audio unit" to find scaler. Do you have an idea please of what's going on? Best from France.

DCSnares name is so different from what it does, it underestimated the plug-in. You guys should rename it. There are lots of stuff to use this Claps Snaps Cymbals Shakers Bass Kicks Vocal chops Percussions

"Can it do X, Y and Z too?" It's literally called, "SNARES" guys!🙄. I'm thinking of that snare in Post Malone's "Rockstar". Very unique sounding (doesn't sound like a traditional "snare" - it's more like perc+snare+perc2). This plugin is just one tool to create something unique. I love that I can add my own samples and layer and tweak 'em.

Does it have microtonal support?

Awesome plugin! The cherry on top for me would be having the possibility to drag and drop the generated sample outside of the plugin, to use as audio (like the DAWESOME Chop Suey plugin does). Since there's a realtime waveform, dragging that outisde the plugin would be dope. ✌

What about different meters?

Hi, when I try to use the keyswitches to manage passages.. they trigger also performance on the piano, and the keyswitches always has a sound. How can I separate those functions? Thanks!

Interesting. Didn’t know there’s a market for 700+ snare sounds in this day and age. My accumulated sample library probably already has this many or more snares and I’ve had no difficulty finding snare sounds I like. But, admittedly, this tool has a lot of features to tweak the sounds, but I’d prefer to learn one tool for all my drum sounds and I can’t quite tell if DC Snares is positioned as that tool for all my drum kit pieces.

Absolute belter of a tutorial, not even just regarding Scaler 2, but also Ableton, the midi tools, gating, etc, etc. You're damned right I sub'd!

So I tried the detect function on a soloed instrument loop to test and the detection was entirely off… like it really couldn’t have been more incorrect

How did your drum kit get labeled in the midi viewer? When I put in a kit it’s just the key names. Anybody know how to do that?

I was trying to find out where the midi capture is I rewind it four times because I wasn’t paying attention and still didn’t get it so I just clicked off the video

Just wanted to comment for some clarity for those a bit confused... Scaler Audio is a audio effect plugin that you load on the same track as your loop. You can also pull up another instance of Scaler on its own track, add the loop in the sidechain, and detect the loop that way as well.

The Chord track in Logic Pro only retrieves 4 notes out of the 5 chord notes sent by ScalerCont2... Am I missing something? (i am new in the music world)

excellent! - Hi Davide, It would be great if you could drag chords and melody phrases from the DAW track (Cubase) into Scaler to edit them further in Scaler. You should then be able to drag them back to the DAW track once you have finished editing them. (for Scaler 3) 😍❤

WOW. i just purchased S2 & it's a BIG leap from using Captain Chords. It feels more natural IMO. i've been so used to using the interface with CC so i'm still trying to get my head around not being able to use a timeline. but other than that, I love it. it's a great investment! thank you.

the tab key function did not work for me. is that in the default keyboard settings? or is that custom? what key function is tab for you sir?

It would be great if there was an option Scaler would output the actual midi chord notes you're playing and not just one note..I know there's record button that does that but it would be better without that extra step of recording and draging the file into DAW...it would be perfect.:)
